During the first half of 2026, the Control and Sensor Systems subsector saw 64 deals or 37% of the total followed by the IT Services subsector at 27 deals or 16% of M&A deal volumes in the IoT sector. Significant activity also occurred in the Security space where there were 18 transactions, representing 11% of total deal volumes. Other noteworthy subsectors include Industry-specific Applications, Mobility, Enterprise Networking, Energy & Power, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Information Management.
